i believe my c7 is a cm too long (on each side), doesnt sound like much its huge compared to my t1. is it the length of the c7 in relation to t1 to determine if a c7 is big or is the actual c7 length. my c7 is 4cm.
also i read people with long c7s are more prone to fibrous bands which are prone to elevate first rib. this is not the scalenes? but what is this just a band of scar tissue? i have full neck mobility but sometimes i have "flares" where my rib goes up. wondering if this is a fibrous band, would the fibrous band have to be really bad to show up on an mri? my scalenes do not spasm. thanks!

Fibrous bands usually do not show up in the MRI's. Mostly only when the surgeons open you up(unfortunately) is when they can see where they are.
