Default Tight muscles

Well I just returned from my neurologist for my MS and found I have a new active lesion on my brain in the area that causes muscles to tighten. I am sure this is not helping with the TOS. I can not get to neck muscles to loosen even with stretching every day. My doc is changing my meds, so hoping this will help.

I had my TOS surgery 21 years ago, and was never able to get my neck to loosen up until I started doing joint mobility 2 ½ years ago. Regular stretching just didn't work well for me. I still have a lot of work to do, but for me, it's been the best thing out there. Here's a link if you're interested.http://www.intu-flow.com/

I was told magnesium really helps with muscle function by my health store guy. It does not absorb well if you take calcium simultaneously. You have to wait a couple hours before taking your calcium.

My breakthrough on muscle tension was "The Quieting Reflex" by Charles Stroebel. Since you have a lesion, I don't think it would be a permanent fix, but if it works then its something you can apply as a counter measure. This is what it's like for me. Rinse and repeat.

My muscle tension is primarily on the left side of my body. Forehead, intercostals, upper back, waist, hamstring, calf ... are all tighter on the left. Makes me wonder if I have a similar lesion in the right hemisphere.

Once you have a lesion can they do anything for it other than trying to prevent more?

Chroma, right now the lesion is active, meaning my MS meds are not working like they should. They are switching my meds, which should but the lesion in remission however the damage is done and the lesion will always be there. I just hope that once it goes in remission, I have less of a problem. It will take several weeks for new meds to start working on it, but yes it should help prevent new ones.

There is a part of your brain that controls everything in your body. It just so happens that the lesion I have is in a spot that controls muscles, it causes tight muscle throughout the whole body.
