Default any thoughts of life after first and second rib

i really know this is a stupid question but it is very important to me , i am about to have another rib removed due to the fact my surgeon removed my second rib by accident , but before this had all happened me and my boys i heavy into martial arts and i was asked to become a instructor which was great but the i was hurt at work and ended up with tos , vascular and neurological , no rsd which is sorte of being controlled at the moment but me and my boys have always trained together and talked in great lengths about opening our own school as a family but if i am missing 2 ribs on my left side , would it be wise to spar (sunhangdo) which is a korean form of mma and grapple (bjj). i am just worried about the space in my chest and if i took a hit there would it really cause damage , martial arts is huge in my life and has helped me out many a time during dark periods in my life and being a good family man i want to be a big part of their lives. thanks for your idea's and god bless

If you could instruct without sparring or taking hits, and also focus more on the business management tasks, that dream might work out well.

But the physical aspects - pros & cons, would be best checked out with your new surgeon.
