I was wondering if anyone else out there who had surgery, did they remove the omohyoid muscle? I had gotten my operative report from my doctor. Tried getting it from surgeon for aflac but didn't. I read in the report they removed my omohyoid muscle. Researched it and still wondering the reason for removal.

Variations? Anomalies?
[Doubling; absence; origin from clavicle; absence or doubling of either belly.] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omohyoid_muscle Seems like there would be a note if due to anomaly? I don't recall anyone mentioning that being removed before.
