Hi candie66. I know how you're feeling. when were you diagnosed? Are you a candidate for surgery or have you tried any pt? I am five wks post op. I had my anterior and middle scalene removed along with a first rib removal and pec minor release. it has been a long hard road. I'm still struggling. I was an extremely active person up until 2years ago and then my whole life seemed to go to pot! Please try to focus on anything that will help you to get better. I am very fortunate that I have a wonderful husband of 23yrs and three grown children that are very understanding. I hear about stories like yours where you are trying to take care of small children and trying to go through this alone. I cannot imagine how much more difficult that must be! Stay strong and keep fighting!

Hi Candie I was in the same boat as you till I found very highly specialised therapists since Aug 2012. They are CFMT's trained at the Institute of Physical Art. If you go to their website www.instituteofphysicalart.com there are atleast two in Philly that I can see. Scroll down to PA. I highly recommend them. Please don't lose hope, I have been through the frustration and tears. We are all here to guide you and help you. Can you post some more details about your condition. This forum has been my lifeline. You have come to the right place.

Default Preach it sista-TOS does suck.

The run around
the pain
being kept from living
frustration
anger
feeling inadequate
yes, it all definitely stinks.

What possible good could there be in it at all?
