I gave up on "purses" and found a soft leather backpack style.
I can carry regular, sling it over a shoulder or wear it back pack style.

Tried it later with a 3lb weight in my bag And I felt fine

This reminds me of my experiences with the tennis ball on my pec minor

I used to not be able to wear a seat belt! Now i like the seat belt..holds back my shoulder

When I was in real bad shape arm wise, I got coats & jackets w/ lots of zippered & big pockets. So carried my stuff that way. Oh and used a fanny pack at times too.

My physical therapist told me not to carry any type of purse or backpack. she located a wheeled backpack that I can push. she also said that the kind that you pull is bad for you as well.

I have a great one that is made by samsonite. I will try to find a link.

Lighter better, Baggillini has a similar cross body with nylon type material, ext. pocket for phone, hands free. It is the weight of carrying what we don't need. I have a wristlets from Boscov's for $5.99 on clearance that fits my phone, cards little cash. For $2.49 they had a card holder clutch for the purse.
Maybe they have hem on line?

There was a fabric, not Vera Bradley quilted I got last Friday for the Spring. On Ebags or was it AAA office I had a padded wrap for where it lays on the shoulder. Ebags has a healthy back tear drop bag I wear cross body on trips for my camera, sweater, a water bottle on the outside. It is nylon type too.

This is the feather light cross body strap, so hands free. Cute for Spring.

Wristlets wallet for smart phone.

It looks like the Gina wristlets for iPhone with touch through front is on the site for $4.99. I need to double check because I think I paid $5.99.

The old heavy bags can go along, but stow them.
Hands gave out, night.
