Default muscle tightness in the morning

my muscles feel really tight about 20 minutes after i wake up and then stay tight for a few hours.

later in the day i go back to my normal self, feeling "loose" almost

anyone else experience this? might be an ehlers danlos thing

Default yes!

When I first get up in the morning I feel like I am constricted, bent, curved, tight, I walk limpy, and generally feel like an old lady!
After getting around for the day I'm much better. I also feel this way when I sit in the recliner for an hour or more. When I get up from sitting I feel just like I do in the morning-tight and constricted. It is odd to me that it does not take long for that feeling to return, but most of my day I don't feel that way.

Im curious of any other TOSers have this issue also!

You just described me so well

I walk with a limp more in the AM too. Im 29 lol

I think the slight limping exaggerates my elevated left 1st rib

I have ehlers-danlos. I don't feel tight- I feel stiff. My back and hips especially. It doesn't usually get better but a few of my joints start feeling unstable as the day goes on.
