I am now using a digestive enzyme with every meal and taking a high quality probiotic each morning. That's been 2 weeks and no help so far. Plus, I don't get much relief from regular antacids - that's why I think it might be a valve problem, which could be nerve related...

Stos, do you the rx meds work for you? I was on 80 mg prilosec and 300 mg zantac but I didn't get much relief.

I need to go back to a GI doctor.

Hey, I know it's been so long, but did you ever find out if tos and gerd are related? I am starting to have acid reflux symptoms, and I have thoughts about if those two are related.

I have been suffering with GERD for over a year. I've changed my diet, I've taken high doses of prilosec and zantac, I'm not overweight... Nothing helps - so maybe it is my nerves. Anyway, thought I'd post this in case anyone else is dealing with it.
Hey, did you ever find out anything more about if those two are related?
