If you go in for a first visit and at the end of it think it wasn't helpful and you don't wish to continue, you can leave without paying. I started as a client years back after a near fatal auto accident. Went from 70 mph to 0 in less than a second, broke several verterbrae in my spine, had severe inflammation in my chest that created strong thoracic outlet-type symptoms. If I turned my head to the side, for example, I didn't just get a weaker pulse in that wrist, the pulse completely disappeared. Massive symptoms in the arms, back, neck, etc... Was in PT 6 days a week for almost 2 years and was told I'd never run or play tennis again. Fast forward 6 years later and I'm almost crippled. Found Pete's clinic in Del Mar (we lived in Thousand Oaks at the time) and started making the drive there every other week, and a year later I was running and playing tennis again, pain free. I started in 1999 when I was 37. I'll be 52 in a couple of days and just played tennis last night for 2 hours, high level singles. No pain. I don't even want to think where I'd be without Egoscue. Also, if you're not physically near a clinic, any clinic can help you via Skype. We do therapy that way with people all over the world. If anyone has questions about Egoscue or the way our therapy works, I'd be happy to answer them to the best of my ability. Or if you have questions about how to utilize the books, I'm happy to help there, too. I'm not trying to sell anyone on getting into a clinic, just wanted y'all to know there is the guarantee policy, and that physical location isn't a limitation to getting therapy. TOS is a bear. I wish you all well on your healing journeys. |

Mark and positive
REALLY glad to hear you are both doing well. That is indeed good news!! Healing happens when it's supposed to Dis- ease does not happen in a vacuum or to a body part. I am a big proponent of system healing rather than symptom healing. Good luck to all on your journey's Peace and metta Juice |

I stumbled around for quite awhile with drs & PTs thinking mine was only multiple RSI's, so I did many searches only on RSIs, tendinitis & tendinosis , until a sorehand poster mentioned TOS & the sx of it.
Then I had a whole new thing , plus all the overlapping conditions to search on and sort out.. Then I found the TOS forums and it all began to fit. I did luck out with some pretty good PTs early on, for the most part , and then the really good chiropractor. So that is probably why self care has worked for me. I was able to quit my job that was causing the injuries, so that alone is a big help.

I found these youtube videos that Rick Mathes posted. I might try a few of these on my own. http://www.youtube.com/user/EgoscueAustin/videos
