Default TOS & Tinnitus

Dear all,

After many months of steadily increasing pain and developing different symptoms I have been diagnosed with TOS (venous/neurogenic). I wonder if any of you also have tinnitus? Mine came very suddenly one morning approx. 8 weeks ago without any apparent reason.

Thank you! By the way, this is a great forum. In Europe, unfortunately there is much less information about TOS.

Isa

Yes, I have tinnitus. Since childhood off and on, but it's constant now. Not sure if it's TOS related or not.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry you have been having this since childhood.

I have tinnitus as well. I get more of it if my jaw gets tight including new tones and increased volume. I got rid of my jaw tightness using "The Quieting Reflex" by Charles Stroebel which is a book you can find in libraries or used on Amazon (it's out of print). That made a really big improvement for my jaw and tinnitus issues, but not so much for my TOS/scalene issues. Still, it was a welcome relief!

Good luck.
