Default Hypnosis for Breathing

Just ordered a hypnosis cd to help me breathe with my diaphragm. At this point in the game, foolish not to give a college try to this as well. We breathe without thinking so am hopeful for it. And if not, at least it will be fun / relaxing!

Your insurance may cover biofeedback therapy with a psychologist. Muscle isolation & relaxation and diaphragmic breathing were big focuses. Mine was 8 visits with EMG monitoring and included guided imaging. It also included recording some of the sessions for future playback. Not exactly hypnotism but possibly effective for you.

Heybro

This is all true and I also was taught a quick way to use a small part of"mindful thinking" Mindful thinking is wonderful it's just usually several months of intense work to learn this, however my counsel showed me a brief demonstration of how to use in as a meditation and I've used it ever since. I use it every night to get to sleep. Good luck and let me know how the hypnosis goes, it's sounds of interest to me. Only 11 more days til surgery with Dr. D.
