Hello, this is my first post. I have been looking at this support group postings for several weeks. Next month I will have 1st rib resection for right subclavian DVT.
Dr Avery plans to just take the rib no muscle. I've been on Coumadin for 2yrs. What should I expect post op please? |

HI Abby
Dr Avery should give you the ins n outs of post op care. Write down all your questions after reviewing some of the posts here by super TOS surgical candidates here then ask Dr Avery. A lot depends on his type of surgery he his performing *your type of TOS *type of surgery performing *your personal body mechanics *tolerance to pain. Everyone is different. Also, find out *how many days in the hospital post op *his protocol for patient care post op, pain meds and physical therapy. Sending you the best of luck and quick healing vibes Quote:
