There's a part in there were it shows the fascia clamping down around the nerves and blood vessels. I think that's a big issue if you've had TOS for a long period of time. The facsia tightens up to protect the nerves, and after a long period of time, it stays that way, causing pain and movement restrictions. That's why myofascial release is so important.
That video shows what healthy fascia looks like. I wonder if bound up, unhealthy fascia looks different?

I've been working on my mobility for more than three years now and I'm realizing that myofascial pain is a huge part of my problem. I work on it with joint mobility exercises, myofascial release(mainly with a Thera Cane), and Chinese vacuum cupping. I've been trying to learn as much about fascia as I can, because for me, it's a big piece of the puzzle.

Just posted replys to member's here how important the fascia/connective tissue is for our optimal healthy. And once injured, cut into/surgery(s) it takes a lot of work to nourish. Its the brain of our entire mechanical system. If it's healthy we have no pain

I was reading about this in my MELT method book last night after I did my first set using a MELT roller and it made sense. Myofacial release and MELT type programs do work. I could feel the blood going back into my back and the pain relief was amazing. Researchers are also looking into connective tissue being the reason for fibromyalgia and other pain conditions. The research has been there for years and only now are we getting more knowledge of connective tissue therapy helping end the cycle of pain we all suffer
