Default Medical marijuana for TOS

Here is an interesting article on the general topic:

"Why I changed my mind on weed"
By Dr. Sanjay Gupta
http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/08/health...ind-marijuana/

In the context of TOS, and specifically chronic muscle spasms, is it worth trying? Especially for flare ups? Anyone here with either experience or science-based knowledge?

Default Marijuana Card

I had a medical marijuana card about three years ago and I thought smoking it was helpful. That was kind of at the beginning of my mobility quest. At that time, I was in such bad shape that it helped calm my nervous system down and it was easier to do my exercises. My muscles relaxed more and didn't fight me as much. It was also helpful with the pain and muscle spasms.

The thing I didn't like about it was it threw off my perception of time and speed. I couldn't drive when I was on it.

The card cost $125 and you have to renew it yearly, so I only had it for one year. The pot was a little pricey as well.

The kind of fun thing about it was, the distributor had all these different strains of pot so I would buy several different ones and some of them had different effects than others. Before that, I thought marijuana was all the same.

I have it and use it occaisionally at night. it takes the edge off and helps me sleep, but dont want to do it during the day. In Europe and S. America you can get it without the THC whcih helps with pain but doesnt get you high. Unfortunatley you cant get it here, but may be able to order it online. I think eventually they will have it here-

I read that article and found it really interesting. I have always wondered if smoking would help since I personally don't find pain meds successful.

In addition to smoking, there is also vaporizing.
