Any successes besides muscle relaxants and opiods? (That dont cause weight gain?)

Ya, 600 Mg Neurotin at nite seems to take edge off nerve pain, 900 works better but made me too groggy in am. I wake up in pain so started taking 200 Mg in am not helping! U have to go up slowly by 100 Mg every 3 days, which seemed to be too quick for me so went up every 5 or 6 days. Helping me to not have to take pain meds the past mo.
dont know about migraines I heard magnesium acts as a natural muscle relaxant.
Good luck
