Default Time recommendations between bilateral surgery?

Anyone who did it within a few months to six months of each other? Do you think trying to get it done sooner effected your healing? I thought I would rather take it very easy and get it over with because spending two more years limiting activity sounds worse, but I am now wondering if it would actually complicate the recovery?
