Default Serrapeptase enzymes

Has anyone ever tried these or know anything about them? A friend recommended trying them as she claims it has given "her friend" significant relief from nerve related pain. I googled it and see that it is used prevalently in Europe and Japan but is relatively unknown in the US. It says it is from silkworms and has properties that are thought to dissolve non-living tissues in the body such as scar tissue, blood clots or mucus from sinus problems among other things.

I have scar tissue problems from TOS surgery and thought about giving it a try. The high majority of things like this turn out to be a waste of time and money but I thought I would ask.

I've never heard of it. Is it available in the U.S. ?

Romans:
On a recommendation as well, I tried Serrapeptase for about 60 days. Maybe I needed more time, but since I wasn't seeing any changes, I wasn't willing to throw more money after bad. At that point in my TOS life, I was really bad, so even a 10% improvement wouldn't have been noticeable.

I'd be willing to try it again. I can't remember the brand, but it was a company that makes very high quality supplements. If it comes to me, I'll let you know. They name a lot their products with acronyms - this will bother me for the rest of the day now .

Remembered! It was Theramedix Serratio. It's on sale at Pure Formulas now. I think I had gotten it originally from an Osteopath.

Anne4TOS,

Thank so much. Unless it is outrageous expensive I think I will give it a try. Otherwise I am looking at scar removal surgery or live with it and I am in pretty bad shape.
