I was really excited about this! I really like this guy's work and have been making comments on his YouTube channel. I've mentioned having TOS a few times and have no idea if I was any influence but check it out, he mentions TOS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37zQ...z-G5dRqsABppDQ

I've looked at the Foundation stuff including purchasing the book and a DVD. In general, it's good stuff, but like some other things I have looked at, there are so many poses/posture/exercises that involve a full overhead reach and stretch with the arms. For a TOS person, that's generally a bad idea as it often leads to flare ups. And if you lose circulation in your arms with an overhead reach as many TOS folks do then you don't want to be in that position for any length of time.
See for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOgxWp0WyiI Also, these exercises are mostly a "lower back pain" approach which is what Goodman talks about most of the time. Most or all of what he teaches was created in that context, as opposed the to context of TOS. |
