Hello, I had TOS surgery a week ago and am in a lot of pain in my sternum and when I breath. Has anyone else run into this. I have been taking it slow after reading the threads on here. I didn't know what to expect, my job is typing and mousing on a computer all day so i'm a tad bit worried about recovery and how long I should be off work. I'm in the Seattle area any suggestions or advise would be great. Thanks all

There can be quite a lot of pain for the first couple of weeks after TOS surgery.
Lots of internal things were moved around. But if it is very bad call your surgeon and if it continues to get worse instead of lessening. Is this pain breaking thru your post op medication? Pain can inhibit healing so do check in with dr if so.
