From what I've been reading, Dr. Donahue has been highly recommended on this forum many times. I made an appointment with him for September visit. If I hadn't come to this forum I feel I would be taking a risk with a surgeon in NYC who couldn't really answer all my questions and gave me a 50% chance of successful surgery / 25% fail / 25% unchanged. With Dr. Donahue's CT scan, botox injections, and passion to answer questions, I feel much better exploring this route.
I would like to add I have bilateral TOS with no accidents or injuries so I'm interested to see how this will be treated because this is very rare right? |

The Wyndam hotel is right by the hospital and will give you a discounted rate is you say you are a hospital patient. Ask for a good view. I'm thinking of staying at the John Jeffries House Bed And Breakfast next time I go. It is less expensive and also close to the hospital. If you fly, the bus/subway takes you right to the hospital. Good luck! |

Thanks for the hotel recommendations. I was planning on coming up a few days earlier and explore the Boston area then have the consult sort of making it a mini vacation. I was looking at hotels near faneuil hall, but damn these are expensive! I would like to find a hotel near here so I can walk around at night time.

You should be able to get there, and pretty much everywhere by subway, http://www.mbta.com. Just make sure your hotel is close to the subway and you will be fine.
Apparently, the Museum of Fine Arts has free admission after 4pm on Wednesday and the first weekend of the month if you have a Bank of America debit card. The trolley tour is good. Buy your tickets online if you do this, it is much cheaper, also, the next day is free too. My daughter came with me this last time, and we took a tour of MIT for potential students which was awesome. |
