I feel that a picture is worth 1000 words. I know you folks will find this interesting. Anyone else in my family would be traumatized by seeing it. There are other cervical problems visible here, bulging, spondylosis, etc.
Questions? Anne

Looks like a slight sideways S shape in just that section. starting at the base shown and going up.. I wonder if there is curving lower down too?
Definitely looks squished down to me. Have you ever tried upper cervical adjustment by expert chiro? Upper cervical only adjusts the top 2 verts and is very gentle, you hardly know anything happened. www.upcspine.com www.nucca.com http://www.spine-health.com/doctor/find-a-chiropractor

Yes, there is some curving at the lumbar spine, like a sideways S, I am told it's worse there than my cervicals!! I have 'hardware' in my future. Spine doc says I can thank my Mother for this (he is her Dr too).
Yes Jo, long ago I had some spine adjustment but it's not recommended for me anymore. What I find interesting in this image is the rib 'stumps', it shows them clearly. Whenever someone questions why I am in pain or out of sorts or says "you look fine to me"... I'd like to show them this x-ray. I am considering a scar tissue clean-up in 1015. Dr Sanders says it could help. Anne Quote:

I had C-ribs, fused into the 1st rib by fiberous bands. My resection surgeries were in 2004 by Dr Annest. Sanders can do phone interviews but it's only to decide if he needs to see you or not. If a surgery is recommended he referrs you to Dr Annest, possibly other surgeons as well.
