Any news yet, Mark? Still hoping for the very best for you! Also, check the previous post where everyone wished you well prior to your implant - you've got a lot of friends here, Mark. Deservedly so!

He checked in on the Today I thread-
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...&postcount=745

[Oh my goodness,
WHERE DO i START??? I miss being around and how much you guys are so much of my family! I so wish I could cure all your ills and unfortunately I can't though there is one that I can suggest. The trial with my pump was a new experience on life! They insersted it in my lower back via flourascopy and the doc had a sense of humor and told me besides all other problems, I had scoliosis....he had another funny but that will have to wait till the end. It took about 15 minutes to kick in and it was like I no longer had a problem... about 4 hours later they came in with a 10mg oxy contin when I have been taking 40mg 3 times a day after that I refused all other pain meds for the duration it was sorking so good! Now to go through with the real deal, and truth be told soon is no quic enough!!!! Well now back to the other funny... I was standing in front of the hospital having a smoke with my temporary pup tether to my neck and my DR WALKS UP TO ME WAGGING HIS FINFGER ... HE GOES THAT IS JUST A DR FINGER WAG THAT HE WAS SLAVE TO 3 PACKS A DAY FOR 24 YEARS AND IT IS NO HIS PLACE TO LIVE MY LIFE JUST TREAT ME AND SINCE HE IS TREATING ME HE WOULD RATHER ME NOT SMOKE<wow> On another note my family doctor called me to see howI was doing reviewed labs, x-rays and talk about my trial OMG I feel so blessed with all these nes Docs... Than I also have Dr Togut to back them all up... Need I say life is good just can not wait for the pump though!!!!
This coming from the heart, I really love and care for each and everyone !

Mark~n~Goober]
