Default Update on my rib resections

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well and Happy Holidays!

As you know I had my second rib resection 6 weeks ago. The second surgery was very hard on my body and I am not the proud owner of 10 incisions. For those who want to know why, I had robotic surgery.

The recovery has been challenging this time around as the second surgery triggered a crazy inflammatory response in my body and it felt like I started from scratch with the first surgery as well. All the progress I had made on my right side was gone and I started all over again.

Things are getting much better, off narcotics now and handling pain with Diclofenac twice a day. I have an MRA next week to make sure the blood flow is normal although I am very sure it is as my hands are nice and warm and I can see my veins now. A plus side to having normal circulation is also being able to have blood drawn from your arms.LOL
