Default Can physical theraphy help with VTOS?

I am still waiting to do the venogram to see in more details what is exactly happening with my veins, but MRI and ultrasound both showed some compression in the certain positions.

As I practically have zero issues (no pain or discomfort) since I had DVT 14 months ago, I am not sure whether the surgery is the right option for me. The first surgeon said to do it without even doing venogram.. Listening other people here, I am concern that I am risking being worse after the surgery (as I feel great now). Only thing I can notice is an occasional slight redness in my arms but it was like this since I can remember. No swelling.

Can physical therapy help at all with VTOS or is there any other treatment other than first rib resection specifically for vTOS (as I don't think I have nTOS - at least I am not in pain or anything)?

Btw I am still on anti-coagulant (Xalerto) and again have zero issues with it.

I don't see why it couldn't. I do some from time to time. Its more to keep stretched than anything. Here are the ones I use.

It helps keep the muscles stretched. Some of my VTOS compression is at the first rib and the subclavian muscles. The one laying on my back seems to help the most with the little tingling I get. I think I have a touch of NTOS... but not much. I don't do it that often. Too often makes mine seem a little worse.

I'm not doctor. Your situation maybe be different than mine. I have non union clavicle that probably caused most of my issues.
