Default How long to get scheduled with TOS surgeons?

I sent my records to a TOS surgeon and my doctor sent a referral as well two weeks ago. I'm wondering how long does it usually take for these guys to look at the records so that they will schedule you?

I would call the TOS surgeon's office to make sure they got the referral and schedule the appointment. It could easily be 6 weeks to 4 months out from when you schedule the appointment from when the appointment will occur.

That's what I tried to do but they tell me they have to have the doctor review the records first then they will call me. But that never seems to happen.

Is it one of the top TOS surgeons?

Seems like the office could give you a rough idea of how long it might be...
Did they double check to make sure your records arrived?
You might be able to leave a msg for the dr , just as a reminder that you sent records and are waiting to hear about a follow up visit after he reviews them..

I know my parents had 2 doctors taking vacations recently..so that might be a reason.

It's Dr. Thompson's office in St. Louis. It seems I'm the perfect patient for what he does since I have a chronic occlusion of the subclavian vein. But two weeks later and they still won't give me an appointment.
