I have to again recommend that everyone get the freeeeee magazine subscription Neurology Now (there is also a Lupus Now that had some interesting info.)
But at www.neurologynow.com or .org or .net - heck, I don't know - anyways, they keep ALL of their back issues online. This month's issue has several good articles, including one on: What to do when the insurance won't approve a therapy or treatment. I haven't read all of it yet, but I bet it has more ideas than what we thought of. It also talks a lot about OTHER NEUROLOGICAL conditions that have some of our symptoms and give us more to check out as far as treatment, doctors, hospitals, etc. I really find this mag helpful. Just FYI. And yes, it's free. |

Hi Tam,
Thanks for the info....unfortunately us up here in the land of the North...aka...Canada are not eligible for the mag......boohoo  thanks for the info victoria

Aaaah, but it's all online! So you can still read it! Go to July's issue about the insurance co. to see if it can be of any help to you somehow right now.
