Default post-op arm numbness and scapular pain from TOS surgery

Hi, I am 4 weeks post right rib removal and scalenectomy. I have worked as an ultasonographer for 14 years and developed signs and symptoms of TOS throughout the years but most significantly in the last 2 years. I have the venous and neurogenic type which has been operated on and the left is also the venous type but presently asymptomatic. Immediately after surgery I experienced terrible scapular pain and continue to today. It becomes more painful with exercise or just as time throughout the day passes. I also experienced new posterior arm numbness from my axilla to the elbow. I don't know if these are normal post-op symptoms? Has anyone else experienced these post-op symptoms?
