Some reasons I like my 80s Volvo, rides nice, seats can be adjusted higher or lower, lumbar adjustment, mine has electric windows.
Small turning radius for easy turns & parking..

During bad times I could rest my hand on my leg and hold steering wheel at 6 o clock.
And on straight roads use my knee..for short times..
