Default Recurrent TOS from posterior scalene

I have been having symptoms of TOS on the left side after having a middle and anterior scalenectomy and pec-minor tonotomy four years ago on the left and three years ago on the right. Initially, there were complications with the phrenic nerve on the left and the long thoracic nerve. Those issues resolved and I have felt great until recent months. I did not have a rib resection on either side. Last Friday I had a posterior scalene block that confirmed TOS. I have not heard back from the surgeon yet but when I saw him before having the scalene block he told me that they do remove posterior scalenes. I can't find any information whatsoever in regard to removing the posterior scalene.

I would love to know if anyone else has had this issue and what was done.

BTW, this was all caused from a MVA in December of 2010 when I was rear-ended by a vehicle traveling at 45-50 mph.
