My name is Raya and I am from the old TOS forum posted back in 2000
14 years ago. If you had tos surgery did the doctor use Adcon-L so scar tissue wouldn't cause problems. Did anyone have thyroid cancer? So glad this forum was started again it sure helped me. God Bless Raya from Michigan |

Hi Raya, I am also from the old forum, I joined in 2003.
I had multiple surgeries for my TOS, the last was in 2005. I don't have Thyroid Cancer, but I did have a goiter, necessitating removal of the right side of the Thyroid in 2016. I have no idea what was used during my procedures. But I do appreciate that we have a place to share all our experiences - it's sooo helpful to so many!! I'd love to hear what your experiences have been regarding the Thyroid cancers' link to Adcon-L. I wish you every bit of success in fighting your cancer, Anne
