Compression /impingements can also come from soft tissue, postural causes or other more surgical causes....
I didn't have a triggering event like a fall or car accident etc..so I figured soft tissue/posture caused.. and that was the major factor for me.

The corpse pose with proper diaphragmatic breathing can help with stresses & relaxation of those tight muscle..
lots of little things... Healthy diet , keep hydrated ( dry internal tissues get sticky) reduce any toxins = junk food, other overly processed food, drinking, smoking.. Maybe look at some supplements.. good multivitamin , grape seed extract, MSM, calcium/magnesium. We have a vitamins forum here for more info on that. https://www.neurotalk.org/forum49/ Maybe try CBD or hemp oil products if legal for your area.. I tend to look at main stream alternatives & self help, unless a MD is actually needed.
