I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome years ago by a Professor of Medicine at Bowman Gray School of Medicine during an exam for carpal tunnel. He moved both arms back and forward at hip level and up and said I had TOS, left greater than right, because my pulse changed.
I have severe pain these days in both shoulders, left arm goes numb and tingles a lot down into fingers. Right shoulder has a lot of new pain around joint and top of arm. Both shoulders ache all the time and I am having pain in right underarm and left breast area recently. Is this anything others have experienced? Who did you see for a diagnosis--PCP, vascular surgeon, thoracic surgeon, neurologist, etc.? Thanks for any information, I truly appreciate. Also, all I have to take for any of my pain is OTC, no prescriptions. |
