Hi Terriann, I had to get rid of my recumbent exercise bike. I too am 5' tall and on it's shortest setting, and a pillow, I was still too short to pedal safely (threw my back out). I agree with Jomar: upper body exercise is not recommended. Regular walking is best, I've found.
