Default Michael's NTOS Release Method

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share my video with you guys like I've mentioned. Please note I'm not a medical Practioner and some of my nomenclature might be off during the video. I am an accountant. "I said scapula instead of clavicle a couple of times and I was too lazy to make a new video". This Release helped me out a lot, and no you have not seen it before. I know NTOS can be a beast of a disease, and I'm not saying this will help everyone out, but it will help out some people. I'm not sure if it will work for vascular TOS. It probably could provide some relief. I will post the video for a couple of days then take it down. The video will be password locked and the link and password are posted below. It's two videos because I left some stuff out on the first one. I will upload the LINK and PASSWORD tonight in the thread.

The only thing I ask you is if you watched the video please let me know if it helped you or not in the thread.

I would perform this release technique 3-4 times daily 30 sec to 1 min each side. I believe the SCM and strap muscles can get bound up against the clavicle causing less room for the neurovascular bundle to pass under the costoclavicular site.

It could be some type of weird myofascial trigger point that mimics TOS.

I don't think anyone has a correct explanation on why this was effective for me.

I was able to lower my medication from this release method and my neck pain is almost all gone. I still have the tingling and burning in my arms but it did improve and could still be improving.

If you had a failed surgery like I did and got zero results from it for your NTOS I would definitely get it a shot.

Hi Michael,

This is very interesting. I have tried massaging the space near the clavicle myself, if only because it's such a sore and tender area for those of us with TOS. I had not considered that there might be a trigger point one can release in there somewhere.

I've had a PT release a trigger point in my neck (albeit temporarily, pretty much all my muscles are tight from TOS), so it stands to reason the same type of thing could help in other areas. This makes me think that a comprehensive solution to TOS would involve trigger point massage in all the different areas.

Try it in the seated position when your shoulder is at an incline.

Just follow the step in video 2 it should be simple.

With this release method, I discovered you can get much deeper under the clavicle and make space for the nerves.

Let me know if you have relief from it or need more help explaining.
