Traveling for surgery

When I saw Dr Sanders his office had a protocol for traveling for surgery. Unlike Dr Annest, his office told me they want the patient to travel home one day after being discharged. I was told that there is a "honeymoon period" where you feel good from the IV meds and to travel before you "feel like you've been hit by a truck". They have you set up everything in advance for the homefront. So you can see that each doctor may have their own approach.

btw-it was those kinds of comments like "feel like you've been hit by a truck" that scared me from having the surgery.
