hip hip hooray
3 cheers to 3 brave souls!

May all your surgeries go extremely well, may your recoveries be as quick and ease-y as possible, and may your procedures result in dramatically reduced symptoms.

know that your cheering section is visualizing the best for each of you.

I am in DEnver, saw Dr Sanders yesterday. I have to say I LOVED dr Sanders!! He is pretty certain my problems are pec minor syndrome bilateral. Which is a minor surgery compared to the scalenectomy/ ribresection. But he sent me for the so called MAC test at a neurologist this morning and it came back abnormal. Now, we are awaiting a call back for any change in surgery. Yesterday I was so happy that I didnt have to have scalene or rib removed. Today I am in that "what the heck are they gonna do now mode". The neurologist was shocked that all of my other emg nerve testing done back in ohio all came back normal. . I am scheduled for surgery thurs at 10:30 am regardless. Will report back later if I can. Sorry bout typos or spelling my arm hurts worse than ever. ihtos

*hugs* ihtos. that MAC test is a killer, but better to get all the problems rather than miss them.

thinking of you-hoping for a great outcome.

my surgery has gone well, I am home today (wednesday). thus far easier than left side- a lot less pain overall...and no surprise findings inside. I got my second night in the hospital for "pain not yet under control" but this was nothing compared to the left side. (my left side had a nerve which was super inflammed- like in the worst 10% the doc had ever seen). On this right side, my muscles were 'overdeveloped' but not excessively so, just typical TOS stuff. My wrist is still numb, and there is a lot of post op swelling, but i'll give it many more than 48hours to calm down before I decide how successful it was. Also, not nearly as much numbness in the armpit and under arm area. weird how much less, really. ALso thisn time I have come home with the right amount of pain meds- rather than not enough....that makes everything easier!!!!

hoping Mucker has also had a good experience...

hugs to all.

Johanna

I am glad everything went well and you are home. How long were you in the hospital? How are you feeling? Much pain? I hope you are at least comfortable. Good luck!
