Arrow I'm staying here!

I'm sure everyone is debating what to do, stay, go, post both places. I know I've thought a lot about it. I may re-register so I can post occasionally to old friends who stay at OBT, and may read there, especially if the data is restored- I want to copy and save what I can in that case. But I like our new place here.

I don't want to start all over again. I LIKE the fact that with this site there's NO chance of losing the data we collect. Doc John has never had a site down more than a few hours. His mods are part of the community, and they hardly EVER ban people. They listen to people here, and respond. There's no crazy chat mod playing weird games. And the site isn't dependent on one person who maintains it in his spare time.

Don't get me wrong, I respect JL and admire the heck out of him for what he created and for all he's done for us over the years. I will always be grateful to him. But I think OBT is too much for one person to be responsible for when he has a demanding job, it's grown too big, and there are problems with the current administrator and mods. But I have a feeling things will be business as usual there, til the next crash comes along, and I'm just tired of dealing with all of that, the loss of data, the lack of communication, the loss of contact with friends, starting all over from scratch......

And I like the fresh air here.....ahhhh.....

So I'm staying here, who's staying with me?
