Dolf....do you mind me asking what your specific RSD sx's are ?

Hey Finz....
I think he said something about there were 2 markers at the base of the neck area that tell that RSD is present.. it's prodominately on the right side but my left side (arm) is bothering me to. I have one of them ?? ( I had a Nucleur? Bone scan that shows them )
He also mentioned Causalgia ?? ( I think it is the same thing )

I have not rec. my report from him, but as soon as I do I will post it. I guess I also have DDD at the neck also. Does that help ?

saw dr. bueno, referring me a a neurologist at carney caritas in Milton. He is a vascular surgeon and not neurogenically versed, also he performs only a rib resection as a fix and does not seem well versed in scalenenectomy or pec minor release techniques. A very nice guy but I guess I am still looking for someone like the doctors in Denver Colorado who have thousands of successful procedures because I am limited to receiving care in massachusetts.

The neuro at Carney is Dr John Mahoney. I love him !

The only problem, as you will soon see, is that getting a hold of him is very difficult. He only works a few days a week (spent between his office and the emg lab) Even when I know that I am calling within office hours, I usually only get the answering service.....who do not put the calls through to him. Even when you get through, his nurse (who is his wife btw) says he'll call back, but then he doesn't. Most people reading this must be thinking....then why see him ? Well....he's the only doc who "gets it" around here. Be very prepared to wait a long time to get an appointment, then be ready to wait a long time in the office (4 hours on my recent visit) You would probably do better to request a visit closer to 10 am (office hours are 10-4) to decrease the wait time. I need the later visit so hubby can drive me.

He will recommend that you see Sheila Caldwell, for PT. I'm not sure where you live, but she is in Halifax and well worth the drive because she understands TOS so well (she also has TOS)

hi finz how goes the battle. well I will see him soon but I live in western mass which makes it a grind. Hope you are hanging in there and feeling somewhat ok.
