Thumbs up Congrats to Gail and ATOSA

Have you seen this at American Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Association? Hopefully we are getting somewhere with recognition of TOS.

Default yes

Gail has done a tremendous job on her website
There is oodles of information out there and TOS is more recognizable to the experts in the field.
I believe in the next 10 years there is going to be a dramatic approach of awareness, medical help and surgical changes.

This is great news! I think the key here is now to support this non-profit organization. I dont know if you all noticed but if you sign up at:

http://www.igive.com/welcome/warmwelcome.cfm?c=42652

a portion of your online shopping dollars will go to the TOS association.

Check it out!

I don't know why my post was edited. The link now just refers to the general website. Here is what i wanted to share with you TOSers.

quote from Gail Sault in a post on atosa forum:

" This morning I rec'd word that the American TOS Association has been officially recognized by the United States government as an international tax-exempt Charity. We have been waiting for this news for several months. We were placed in the 1st(best) IRS catagory which means that they will not require any further narrative reports from the Association.

What does this mean for you? It means that now our government has officially recognizes that TOS patients need help and that this is a medical condition requiring further awareness, education and research. This is an historical event.

I hope this news brings you a sense of validation for all that you have been through and I know you are stuggling desperately for help and physical peace. Please know that I think of you all very often and I hope to continue to bring Thoracic Outlet Syndrome to the forefront of modern medicine and most importantly, I hope to help you!

Okay I'm pretty vaklempt right now... I'll chat with you all later.

God Bless you all

Gail "
