Best of luck, warm happy thoughts for success
fyi- my NEURO (who does not have the rosy memory of my surgeon) suggested that normal recoveries could span from 6 weeks to 3 months for people with no complications. I have been off for 6 months but have had two surgeries. I am 3 Mo out from the second just about now, but not quite ready to return to work. You will have about a week where you will need someone to really take care of you- no cooking, cleaning, help with washing hair adn any other hard to reach spots, etc. I found that after that first week I could at least take care of myself...still had someone around to take care of my kids, though. It took 3-4 weeks to feel like I could get around without tremendous trouble, and at 6 weeks i felt at least as good as i did going into the surgery. You will do great, and we'll all be thinking of you Johanna
