this is for godoggone,
if i knew how to contact you some other way I would. musicians are a significant group who suffer from TOS. athletes and musicians thankfully discredit the argument that TOS is a manifestation of workers discontent with their employment and are simply malingerers looking for some easy cash. it is the TOS suffered by athletes and musicians which give creedence to the argument that it is a combination of dedication and sustaining uncomfortable body postures for long periods of time. persons reading my other posts will know of all the strategies that i have employed to lessen pressure on my long thoracic nerve(LTN). taping , shoulder brace, chi ball and bolster between my shoulder blades have been external measures which have improved my shoulder girdle stability, and stopped all my arm symptoms. the improvement that i have obtained as a consequence of using medicatiion to stop paradoxical breathing (chest breathing) has reinforceed my belief that the problem is the trapping of the nerve between scapula and ribcage . my early measures effected the release from outside, and normalizing breathing effects the release from the inside. the release of the tension in my ribcage has meant, 1 headache in about 10 weeks compared with 100% at one stage and then 50% at best later when external measures were used. no arm symptoms, normal sleeping patterns, a fraction of thoracic spine tightness. hope to here from you godoggone merry christmas to you all towelhorse |
