Olecyn,

when I was on primarily opiods, I'd have terrible constipation.

Now, my pain med is a low dose FEntanyl patch. So for over 2 months, I have immediate and violent diahrea. I know opiods can constipate you, but if you get I high, hard stomach (all of the time), and can only eat a couple bites, then can't breathe, AND, I have such a picky time with foods that won't make me throw up. I am pretty much a vegetarian, but I have to eat foods like brown rice with mashed up broccoli in it, or peas in it, and of course, I drink fat free milk.

But I KNOW (the docs of course disagree) that with Cymbalta and Lyrica together, I got 400 to 500 blood sugar, the work comp docs ignored it until a YEAR later I asked about it, so now I have metformin and glimipride which are known to cause vomiting. I think I am going to ask my doc for a consult with our LA pain doc, (female, you know who I mean), just so he can KNOW what neurogenic TOS is! HE is too lazy to read about it. Gosh I hate that.

GIBBRN - don't fear surgery if you see top doc like Dr. Annest or one of the other main guys. For one year I had no headaches, and I did have more mobility. Now, I think scar tissue and autonomic neuropathy, and whatever "hidden" disease like MS or something is causing new problems to increase. PLEASE keep us posted on your additional issues. I don't understand them yet - we all have trouble swallowing, are they correct on your diagnosis? Just asking. My prayers and love to you.

Don't forget that Dr. Brantigan said, "there are literally hundreds of immune diseases that docs haven't even identified and named, let alone know what to do about them."

I just got an "insurance side" bunch of QMEs. They were all ok, except a doctor in San bernardino lied, mixed up issues, all to say I was just a fake. I TRY hard not to take it to heart - just procceed, get my final reports, and take this to trial.

What is funny is that the insurance psych the FIRST one found completely on my side - so what does the adjuster do? She starts doctor shopping. We will try to block the admittance of this report, of course. But no one knows for sure what a judge will decide. One mustn't give up.

I read Neurology Now this month, and both Oregon and WA state have self assisted suicide laws to allow a patient their rights. Just an FYI, NOT a suggestion. But to protect family members - it would be horrible if I accidently overdose and police charge my family member in error.

I think I need to get a Trust started, as well as a notarized statement relieving all family and nurses from any liability if my meds cause a death. I want them protected, and to know where every life policy is, and make sure my beneficiaries are protected and in the know.

Lastly,

to everyone else who responded, you know i Love you!
