Default Holiday Fun

Merry Christmas To All

I thought just for fun we could have a thread listing the worst Christmas presents given to someone with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome:
Here's mine

1. A set of weights.

Healing magnets from my mother who then told me to use them but save them for her to borrow also. (bit hits on quackwatch.org)

A few presents put on my lap and told "ok, open your present!" and by #2 I couldn't move my forearms anymore and had to ask for help repeatedly.

Arriving to my mom's and having side dishes to make, gravy to stir, etc., as if TOS didn't exist!

Oh boy, no wonder I don't mind staying home and cuddling in bed with the dogs...

turtlenecks

I used to like them, but the burning neck pain frequently causes excessive sweating, so I can't wear long sleeves even in the winter. Stop buying me turtlenecks, Mom !

You guys are funny. Actually it is around 6:30 am and I have been wrapping presents since 3:30. That is my worst present. Also, figuring out that the amount of children and presents are not equal. Have to go out again when I thought I was over.!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone enjoys their families and friends on this Holiday. Linda

hmmm.... good point about the turtlenecks Finz...i've had to be careful which sweaters I wear now. I had a couple of wool ones I loved, but they drive me nuts now. Oh well. I'm a guy, so I guess I can get away with wearing just a couple of different sweaters.

Merry Christmas to all!
Happy Festivus too!!
