Default wish you well

Hi everyone,
My arm is the best it has been for 7 years. At my work I have spent 5 hours a day cutting aluminium parts, previously I could only stand 10 mins. I would be on top of the world except I hurt my lower back digging in the garden, so bad I had to call the doctor out because I couldn’t walk. And besides its difficult to be on top of the world when you’re on the bottom of the planet. We had Christmas lunch at our house and as per usual my wife did an excellent job. (I cooked the turkey and the roast beef). I wish you all well
Regards
Towelhorse

Default to a Joyful 2008

Best wishes for a joyful and Happy New Year to all.
I'm around, quietly enjoying the holidays while life busily soars elsewhere.

Happy New Year to All !

We had a nice Christmas going to visit with family. 2007 was a mixed bag for me....I finally found the "right" neuro and PT, so as long as I don't do too much, my TOS symptoms are decently controlled. I'm still having a lot of pain that the neuro now feels is nerve root irritation, so I am awaiting WC approval for a cervical epidural. I am hopeful for some improvement now that I have finally found a doc who is determined to help. Now if only I could get a decent nights sleep so that I wouldn't be so exhausted all of the time !

I hope 2008 brings relief for all of us !

Red face Best wishes to all for 2008!

I'm still here. Hoping that 2008 is the year I win SSD. Pain levels are up - but that seems to be the norm for winter months. I'm looking forward to summer and more good days.

My GP upped all my pain meds and changes my ani-inflamatory. Also said she wants to see me when I'm in a flare-up. But she's only in her clinic Tues. am, Wed. and Fri. so I have to coordinate it. yeah, right.

While getting help with my groceries, the bag-girl raked a shopping cart across my bumper. This was right b4 Christmas. Dealing with that today and then taking down the tree. That could take days. Then I'll begin getting my Mom's taxes ready.

Wow - another year come and gone.

I'm so thankful for all of you fine folks here - have a fabulous New Year!!!
Anne

Well, I'm back I guess I should say. WC has me in job placement for four months, trying to put me back into a job that started all this-but no one is listening to me about it.
I'm hosting Christmas and kind of looking forward to it...Okay so now that's over as I'm writing this on New Years Day-My niece, 20, from Dallas, said this was the first Christmas she has been at that my daughter, Mindy, and I didn't have a fight....She's in Texas, too so maybe that has something to do with it....We're not together every day.....

Happy New Year everyone!

Im looking forward to what will hopefully be a HEALTHY new year! 2007 was a tough year, with my TOS diagnosis and subsequent surgery and my husband having to have major knee surgery thanks to a motocross accident... We remain thankfull that it was us and not our son, that we have good health insurance and have had great doctors and surgeons to care for us, and that we have had amazing support from our family and friends!
