i think that one can have a variety of sources of headaches. at least it's true for me. i would suggest seeing a good neurologist who could help determine if the cause is migrane and/or TOS and also someone else if nec. who can tell if it's TMJ, tight muscles, trigger points, sublaxation, arthritis... and then a consult w/an ENT to see if you have anything else going on. I just learned that I have one more source for my headaches besides cervical neck and TOS. It's something that I think should've been caught a long time ago as I'd been to many doctors but the ENT I saw that since I never saw an ENT it makes sense. Now I just have to determine in which order to fix the problems. The reason I think it may make sense to see an ENT is due to your dizziness. i'm no medical prof, just a patient like you. and I had an MRI of my brain some years back but noone caught anything--the ENT said that it was because I did not show it to an ENT. geez.

Anne and richard.... i'm sorry to read about the *bleep*ing headaches. I started getting those about 10-11 months ago. The nausea, double vision, dizzyness, etc was freakin me out. I talked to my doc, and I have been trying a migraine medication.... but here's the catch - the more often you take it, the more often you get "rebound" headaches. So I try not to take it unless I really think it is going to be a doozy. Triggerpoint injections helped, along with an anti-inflam (advil), lying down, and rubbing the temples.

Maybe TMJ!

My jaws are killing me! Great thing is I know where it hurts. I hope this whole neck/back/head thing is related to this tmj. I had a tooth out a year and a half a go and the problems started then. Crossing my fingers.
Now getting into the docs is the hard and long part.

Thanks for all the advise.
