Default Pain in temple area? tension head?anyone else?

I was working and got this pain in my left temple. I still have it now. Then I got dizzy and couldn't even talk to a co worker. Thought I would pass out. Couldn't tell you my name. I've had an mri of brain in the year and nothign showed. Can the tension from the neck and back cause this? I have tons of neck pain and am told i have bad arthritis as well as tos.

I'm just scared Its gonna happen again. something must be pushing on a blood vessel. I turned all white.

thanks all

i've had headaches that include the temples too and suffer from a combination of TOS and cervical issues. the headache and pain can definitely be part of either or both. but your symptoms sound severe. i hope that you will continue to try to find out what it is.
here's a website that talks about dizziness. have you seen an ENT? not that you should but that could be related to the dizziness and feeling faint. do you have ear pain or balance problems?

Unhappy

Yes, I get real sharp severe head pains accompanied by dizziness and sometimes rininging in ears and numb face. Not always, but often, a flare up follows soon after.

I really want to go to an ER when this happens (happened today) but I get too scared to be in an ER without someone who can be there to keep people from making things worse. I just can't think or speak when I'm like this.

praying for your situation and some relief to come to you soon!

Anne

Default thanks anne

Thanks Anne. I'll be praying for you too. Massaging my temple and light neck stretches have seemed to help. Plus ice for sure has helped. good luck.

Have you had migrane headaches before? Sometimes these sorts of things may have nothing at all to do with TOS. On the other hand, I am glad to hear you will be seeing a speicalist soon.

I have found that when I suggest a possible cause, (for this symptom or that), the Doc just focuses on what I said and would otherwise have not limited their thinking by a suggestion. In other words, they may have looked for other possibilities.

Anyway, I hope this is an isolated incident and will not reappear.

Have a 'happier' New Year,
Anne

It could be from triggerpoints too.
It's like a small knot{& very tender sore spot} in your muscle.
I even get them on my scalp.
Once I relax and do stretches they usually go away, if not then I do the trp pressure release on them.

you can experiment if you find sore spots to see if it helps or not.
there are a few places not to use pressure unless you are experienced (mainly arteries/veins and small bones in the throat)
read the links below for more info

When my RSI/TOS hit at the beginning I had bad dizzy spells, nausea & total fog brain - I was thinking "am I getting Alzheimer's, ADD and speaking problems all at once??" It was bad!
In my case I think it stemmed from the vertebral artery being affected by muscle spasms.
- because after good PT and off work those problems faded away.
My voice is still affected as far as singing - it is weak and falters after 3 songs or so.
