Default Surgery update

Hi everyone

I have one word -- pain! I just wanted to let everyone know that the surgery went well. I am still in the hospital but it should be going home today. I have never been in so much pain in all my life! I will give you more information later and I just wanted to let you know that I was okay. The surgeon said I had a lot of compression and he removed to scaling muscles and a lot of scar tissue. He immediately found the problem when he cut into me. He said the muscles and scar tissue were compressing my nerves and he hopefully freed them up. I am using voice software to talk in this computer and is giving me some problems. I have not ate much and do not feel well at all. They have on some medication that works but I am very out of it.

i have to o go now I am in too much pain but I'll be in touch talk to you soon

MOMZ!! Thanks for posting!!!!
(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))

I hope that you are requesting pain medications - you should not be in high pain esp. while in the hospital! Also use Ice or Heat whichever feels best (or both!)

Hope to hear from you when you feel better - REST and heal well!

Anne

Momz,

If you see this:

Important!

Try to identify for the docs, while you're still in there, where the pain is and what kind.

For instance, some people have had a nerve pull. Others, like me, had fibromyalgia flare up while in the hospital after surgery, and there were things that they could've done for it.

Do not leave that hospital without a consult from a pain management specialist and adequate pain converage for you.

It is not OK if you are in really bad pain, ok???

Post more, or have your mate post, if you need any support from us. If you have a TOS who lives near you, and you're friends with that person, it sometimes helps to have them come in and help you deal with this type of stuff.

God bless.
