Thanks for everyones suggestion and good wishes. We are SO ready for a change!! My son is now in a large removable cast. Will be on crutches for atleast another month. We will get a wheel chair in Disney.

I plan on frequent stops and pillows. I do have a foam arm rest that I will also bring. Thanks, Linda

I found this kind of pillow esp. good for drving because it supports your whole forearm. You might need to take a little stuffing out of the bottom of the "U" to make it fit between you and the steering wheel.
