Just wondered if you tried flaxseed oil. My "health nut" son used to "make" me use it when he lived at home and it seemed to help that situation. I have been thinking about getting some lately. To make it more palateable I used to put it in chocolate milk.

Yes, although I LOVE flax seed for nutrition, in my shake I believe it was binding with the raw and rough psyllium and making a hard knot in my upper intestine.

The oil is the HIGHEST amount of omega 3 you can get!!!

I also heard that the dry flax seed can be ground as a fiber, so I'll look into this.

Thank you Lynda for joining in, and don't forget wheat germ & protein powder in a shake if you do make one with either juice or milk (and choc) and the flax seed oil.

Another way to get good seeds is to buy them raw, brown them minute by minute in a micro until they look nice and lightly toasted, and then toss them into your big salads. I like walnuts, almonds, pignoles (pine nuts, also good on pasta!), and of course pecans.

Before I was sick, I LOVED to cook. I have about 40 cookbooks just from the last few years, and boxes more in my garage. Maybe I can cook again someday?!

Default hope is is passed

they must have been real imaginative to get it out. hope it is passed.

have they made u get a colonoscopy? when i got mine i was thinking, from the infomercials, that i would lose 10 lbs when i did the prep for it. i was clean as a whistle but didn't lose any weight. my surgeon told me that the said infomercials are full of it.

anyway, if they made u do anything like a prep for a colonoscopy, it gets real sore back there, and i used baby oragel for that. just a little tip.

very sorry u had to go through that.
