I too find the three o'clock thing happens. My question is do any of you get increased pain in your elbow? After approx 5pm if I have my arm bent more than 15 or 20 degrees the pain in my elbow and into my hand increases. Any ideas?

elbow and hand pain

hi, my theory is that
as the day wears on and the scapular stability worsens and the scapular stabilizers attached to the thoracic spine weaken, the pectoralis minor becomes more dominant and the shoulder rolls forward more and the brachial plexus is compromised under the pec minor (pec minor syndrome). When you sleep, as long as you dont sleep on the affected side the pain could subside because the thoracic stabilizers can recover and the posture will improve . if i tried to wipe our dining table of an evening i would get pain just like electricity, flying up from my hand as i leaned forward and stretched out. if i taped my shoulder back for the day there was a significant improvement

I will get the sore elbow and wrist pains if I do moderate/heavy & continuous use projects.
- for me it shows up after a week if I don't take the time do my self care/rest/relax stuff. - lay on the floor/relax/breathing/heating pad/hot showers/lay on the foam roll or over one of those big exercise ball.

For me it is in the pec minor mostly now & as long as I catch it right away when it acts up I can get it to loosen using the methods above.

so i'm not the only one...... Sitting at a desk again has made this more noticeable than before. Having my elbow even slightly bent after 3 or 4 is just not fun. i've tried putting a lidoderm patch on my arm just above the elbow, but it itches like crazy.
